Kling 4.0 isn't available here yet. New clips use Kling 3.0 by default, and each clip in your library shows which model made it. We'll turn on Kling 4.0 once we've tested it on this site.

What Kling 4.0 is

Kling 4.0 is Kuaishou's next-generation video model, announced on 27 September 2026 with a full launch promised for October 2026. A lighter variant, Kling 4.0 Flash, opened in limited early access on 28 September.

What Kuaishou says it does

  • Native 30-second generation (3–30 s) instead of stitching 5–10 s shots.
  • Up to 10 keyframes to control where a shot goes over time.
  • Omni Reference with up to 15 assets — images, short video clips and "elements" that keep characters, objects and voices consistent.
  • Up to 4K output in Kling's spec (fal lists up to 1080p at launch, with 4K there marked coming soon); 10-bit HDR is marked coming soon; 21:9, 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16 framing.
  • Stereo audio with lip-sync generated with the picture.
  • Better understanding of camera moves and shot sequencing (push-ins, orbits, tracking shots).

These are Kuaishou's claims. Early testers report strong motion and prompt adherence, but consistency across many references has not been independently benchmarked yet.
