Kling 4.0 isn't available here yet. New clips use Kling 3.0 by default, and each clip in your library shows which model made it. We'll turn on Kling 4.0 once we've tested it on this site.

The short answer

Kuaishou has committed to a month, not a day: Kling 4.0 launches in October 2026. As of 14 October no launch date has been published.

What "launch" will likely mean

  • Availability in the Kling app for paid tiers first, then wider plans.
  • A developer API on Kling's open platform and on partner gateways such as fal. Expect per-second pricing like Kling 3.0 ($0.084–$0.42/s on fal today, depending on tier, audio and resolution).
  • Some headline features (10-bit HDR, two-minute extension) are marked "coming soon", so they may come after the launch.

What this site will do

As soon as a Kling 4.0 endpoint is live, priced and passes our own test render, we switch it on here. Until then Kling 3.0 is the default model (MiniMax H3 and Seedance 2.5 are also available), and every clip is labelled with the model that rendered it.

Try Kling now

You can generate text-to-video and image-to-video clips with Kling 3.0 on this site today; your library labels every clip with the model that rendered it. When Kling 4.0 is published and passes our own test render, we switch it on here — the banner at the top of this page is the live status.
