What Kling 4.0 Flash is
Flash is the lighter, faster member of the Kling 4.0 family. It opened in limited early access on 28 September 2026, currently for yearly Ultra subscribers inside the Kling app, ahead of the full model's October launch.
Flash vs the full Kling 4.0
| Kling 4.0 Flash | Kling 4.0 (full) | |
|---|---|---|
| Clip length | 3–20 s | 3–30 s |
| Resolution | 720p, 8-bit SDR | up to 4K (1080p on fal at launch); 10-bit HDR coming soon |
| Inputs | text, image, Omni Reference | same, plus up to 10 keyframes |

| Status | early access (app only) | launching October 2026 |
10-bit HDR and "extend to two minutes" are marked coming soon for the whole Kling 4.0 family, not just Flash.
Is there a Flash API?
No. fal lists Flash alongside the full model as early access; no endpoint or price has been published. This site will treat Flash as a separate catalog entry if fal ships it with its own endpoint.
