What changes for you
- Longer single takes. 3.0 tops out at 15 seconds per render; 4.0 is designed for 30-second shots without stitching.
- More control over time. Keyframes let you dictate where a 30-second shot goes, instead of one opening and one closing frame.
- Consistency across shots. Fifteen references plus "elements" aim at the character-drift problem that still bites multi-shot work on 3.0.
- Cost. 4.0 prices are unpublished; expect them above 3.0's $0.084–$0.42/s on fal (depending on tier, audio and resolution).
Which one should you use today?
Kling 3.0 — it is the one that exists. It already handles text-to-video, image-to-video with start and end frames, and generated audio, and it is the Kling model this site renders with until 4.0 passes our test.
Try Kling now
You can generate text-to-video and image-to-video clips with Kling 3.0 on this site today; your library labels every clip with the model that rendered it. When Kling 4.0 is published and passes our own test render, we switch it on here — the banner at the top of this page is the live status.
